3 Tools to help you have a good day. I recently conducted a survey of my subscribers wanting to know what their greatest challenges were. I venture you could guess what they were. Yes, you are right; work, too much to do and not enough time, and finances. Given our economic status, I was not too surprised at the results. Because you wake up every day with these heavy worries and concerns, you’re caught in the “Bad Day” trap. When you live everyday stressed and worried, the quality of your life and health suffer. Yes, Dis-ease results. Is there a way out? What can you do to wake up and not wish you were somewhere else?
- Use Personal Power, a proactive force that has two components: taking responsibility and taking action. You’ve heard it before; you are in charge of how your day goes. You get to choose how you want to respond to those daily undesirable situations. Don’t allow yourself to be a victim. Choose a mind set that says “I can handle any situation life dishes out.” If you don’t really know how to handle it, follow your intuition until you make it. You’ll discover you can solve more problems than you previously thought. It’s a good day!
- Lead With Your Strengths. Change the direction of your thoughts. If you give in to your fear reaction, you will focus on your weakness which in turn reinforces your fear. What are you afraid of? Forget the “F” word! Remember the “A” word – appreciation. It is the antidote to fear. It asks for nothing and gives everything. Take the path of your intellect and your spirit and you will find you will begin focusing on your strengths and solve the situation, and even feel good. Your frowns will turn into smiles; you will send positive energy to those around you.
- Love Yourself enough to do something everyday that you love doing. You will have harnessed positive energy, reduced stress and anxiety, and be able to live in the moment with a smile on your face. It’s a good day!
